Bureau of Finance and Accounting

Consists of the following sections:

• Purchasing Card Administration

• ESF8 Finance & Administration

Department-wide services provided by this bureau consists of the following:

• Promulgation of Accounting Policies & Procedures

• Accounting procedures oriented training

• Accounting systems maintenance and report generation

• Departmental Financial Statement preparation

• Mass uploads of transactions to FLAIR, such as, payroll and disbursement transactions from Department of Health's client management systems

• Statewide Compliance monitoring of Internal Controls, Contract Administrative Monitoring, Purchasing Card transactions and Prompt Payment

• Florida Single Audit Act policies and coordination

• ESF8 Finance & Administration policies & coordination, and FEMA reporting

This bureau also provides the following operational services for 13 county health departments, and all program and field Offices, except A.G. Holley State Hospital and Division of Disability Determinations:

• Accounts Payable Processing

• Purchasing Card Reconciliation

• Revolving Fund
