Distance Learning Services Network

The Distance Learning Services Network (DLSN) provides access to videoconferences, webcasts, and satellite broadcasts. These opportunities are available to employees statewide and some are accessible to DOH partners
These opportunities include a variety of public health related information and other topics to support individual and organizational development. A well-educated public health workforce is vital to the department mission - protect and promote the health of all residents and visitors in the state through organized state and community efforts, including cooperative agreements with counties.
Benefits of DLSN:

  • Provides health professionals with the opportunity to obtain continuing education credits with little or no cost.

  • Provides up-to-date information on emerging public health issues.

  • Saves time and money associated with travel costs or time away from the work location.

  • Distributes time-sensitive information quickly and efficiently.

  • Allows the archiving of health information
