Distance Learning
Services Network
The Distance Learning Services Network (DLSN) provides access to
videoconferences, webcasts, and satellite broadcasts. These opportunities
are available to employees statewide and some are accessible to DOH
partners
These opportunities include a variety of public health related information
and other topics to support individual and organizational development. A
well-educated public health workforce is vital to the department mission -
protect and promote the health of all residents and visitors in the state
through organized state and community efforts, including cooperative
agreements with counties.
Benefits of DLSN:

Provides health professionals with the opportunity to obtain continuing
education credits with little or no cost.

Provides up-to-date information on emerging public health issues.

Saves time and money associated with travel costs or time away from the
work location.

Distributes time-sensitive information quickly and efficiently.

Allows the archiving of health information
