The Community Projects division of the Bay County Health Department was created in January 2002 to promote health and wellness throughout the Bay County community. We do this through education, health promotion, prevention, and access to health care initiatives.
Community Projects team members serve on many local boards and committees and work with community partners on a variety of initiatives. Team members are available for community and school presentations on a variety of topics such as tobacco prevention and cessation, underage drinking, chronic disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, benefits of abstinence, and many more.
For more information on Community Projects, please contact Julia Ruschmann at 872-4455 ext. 1369 or via email.
