The members of the Environmental Health Division, Bay CHD, seek to protect the health and safety of the citizens of Bay County by enforcing the general provisions of Florida Statute 381 and the specific guidelines of the 64E series of the Florida Administrative Code. The programs currently conducted by the EH Division are briefly described below. A more detailed description (application, construction, plans, training, requirements, etc.) of selected programs may be gained by using the 64E hotlink when provided in the program information below. 	What Fish Are Safe To Eat?                                    Fish Consumption Advisories are published periodically By the State of Florida to alert consumers about the possibility of chemically contaminated fish in Florida waters.  The Advisories are meant to inform the public of potential health risks of specific fish species from specific water bodies.
	How To Protect Yourself From Mosquitoes. The Florida Department of Health officials emphasize precautionary measures to help prevent West Nile Virus and other Mosquito-Borne Illnesses.  Florida residents need to remain diligent in protecting themselves from mosquito bites by clicking on the mosquito icon and follow the “Drain and Cover” prevention instructions.
