Blountstown Students Working Against Tobacco 
Blountstown Middle School Students have been actively involved with SWAT during the past school year (08/09). The photo below shows a picture of the school's SWAT banner, which they proudly display during their activities in the community.
SWAT members released helium balloons in the town square to attract attention to their cause.
On March 10, 2009, The Tobacco-Free Partnership Chair, Mrs. Orma Jeppson, and the SWAT Chair from Blountstown High school adressed the school board at one of their regular meetings. Their topic was smoke-free schools and campuses.
