Emergency Response
During manmade or natural disasters, the Environmental Health Section is integrally involved in supporting Emergency Support Function 8 (ESF 8) at the Holmes County Emergency Operations Center, the special needs shelters, and wherever their expertise is needed. Hurricanes and floods are just some of the events that warrant emergency response.
