Title X Federal funding program for sterilization now provides vasectomies in addition to tubal ligations for those who have no insurance or their insurance does not provide coverage for the procedures. The cost is based on household income and can range $0 - $500.00 for vasectomies and $0 - $1314.89 for tubal ligations. The procedures are performed at a medical facility outside the health department by one of our contracted physicians.
To qualify for sterilization procedures, you must be over 21 years old. There is a mandatory waiting period of 30 days from the date the consent form is signed until the procedure can be performed.
