Environmental Public Health - DeLand Country Club Estates

|
The Volusia County Health Department began collecting water samples from private drinking water wells in the DeLand Country Club Estates area after one well tested positive for dieldrin in early 2011. In April of 2012, the health department conducted resampling of private drinking water wells that previously showed non-detects for the pesticide dieldrin. Below you will see results from both tests. You will also find maps showing the results. If you have a question about water testing, please contact Environmental Health Specialist Brian Volkman at The Volusia County Health Department’s sampling strategy follows protocol from the Department of Health's Well Surveillance Program Technical Guide.
