School Health Information

Florida School Health Services are public services provided to students in Pre-K through 12th grade by the 67 local county health departments and school districts.  There are 6 schools in Washington County.

The registered nurses and health support techs make up the School Health staff, and provide basic school health services.  These health services include: nursing assessments, community health education, immunization clinics and review records for immunization compliance.  The School Health Staff also provides health screenings for vision, hearing, scoliosis, height and weight, and Body Mass Index.
