  • Amount tobacco industry spends each year to market their products in Florida (more than in any other state in the nation) - $969 Million

SWAT is Florida's statewide youth organization working to mobilize, educate and equip Florida youth to revolt against and de-glamorize Big Tobacco. We are a united movement of empowered youth working towards a tobacco free future. SWAT won't tell you what to do or how to think. Our mission is simple: just share the facts and let you decide for yourself.

SWAT Executive Board Meetings are held monthly at the Health Department. Youth ages 12-18 are invited to join and represent middle and high schools from around St. Johns County, Florida.

If you are interested in joining or starting a SWAT team at your school, please contact St. Johns County Health Department’s Tobacco Prevention Program at 904.825.5055 x1053!
