Florida Newborn Screening Program

Mission:

To ensure all newborns screened receive appropriate, high-quality laboratory and follow-up services.

To: All Users of Newborn Screening Specimen Collection Cards (DH677)

If you have any expired specimen cards, please DISCARD them.
Specimens collected on expired cards will be REJECTED.

ACCEPTABLE cards have the following lot numbers and expiration dates:

  • Lot W092 Exp Date: 2013-05
  • Lot W101 Exp Date: 2013-09
  • Lot W102 Exp Date: 2014-02
  • Lot W111 Exp Date: 2014-07

Fax a request to Newborn Screening Laboratory if more cards are needed.
