Technical Assistance Review Resources
Participating and new CRI communities are assessed annually on 12 planning
elements for evidence of overall readiness to manage, distribute, and
dispense SNS material during a public health emergency. The following
documents/tools will assist communities in meeting readiness goals.
CDC OPHPR, Division of Strategic National Stockpile Local Technical
Assistance Review (TAR) Tool - Form used to assess community
readiness. Counties can use this form to understand the review process and
for self assessment.
Local Technical Assistance Review Tool Users Guide - Provides a
blueprint for understanding and conducting an SNS TAR at the local level. The
guide will be used in conjunction with the TAR tool.
