- The above version of Chapter 401, F.S., includes the following amendments from the 2009 Legislative Session which were approved by Governor
Crist on June 16, 2009.
- s. 401.2701, F.S. - revising requirements for the field internship experience in paramedic programs and authorizing the Department of Health to
adopt rules
- s. 401.281, F.S. - revising the documented requirements for a driver of an emergency vehicle
- These amendments went into effect on July 1, 2009.
- The Bureau of EMS is now in the rule development process regarding field internship experience in paramedic programs
