    Florida Statutes

    Chapter 401, F.S.

    • The above version of Chapter 401, F.S., includes the following amendments from the 2009 Legislative Session which were approved by Governor Crist on June 16, 2009.
      • s. 401.2701, F.S. - revising requirements for the field internship experience in paramedic programs and authorizing the Department of Health to adopt rules
      • s. 401.281, F.S. - revising the documented requirements for a driver of an emergency vehicle
      • These amendments went into effect on July 1, 2009.
      • The Bureau of EMS is now in the rule development process regarding field internship experience in paramedic programs

    Legislative and Rules Committee of the EMS Advisory Council

    The EMS Advisory Council's Legislative and Rules Committee has requested that the following documents be downloaded prior to their meetings. The downloading of these documents prior to the meetings and the addition of numbered lines will facilitate discussion during future meetings.

    Declaratory Statements

    Pursuant to Chapter 120.565, F.S., a substantially affected person may submit a petition for a declaratory statement from an agency regarding the agency's opinion as to the applicability of a statutory provision, rule, or order of that agency.

    Below are petitions for a declaratory statement, with their final orders from the Department of Health's Office of the General Counsel, as they relate to matters of the EMS community.
