Goal Team 1Establish a sustainable infrastructure that provides leadership, funding, data, policy and evaluation for injury prevention. Upcoming Conference CallsGoal Team 1 is the Injury Prevention Program staff. Weekly staff meetings are held every Wednesday to discuss progress of the goal teams. Action Plans and Annual ReportsThe key to the implementation success of the Florida Injury Prevention Strategic Plans are the development and use of annual action plans. These action plans, based on the strategic plan, are developed by the Injury Prevention Program and the Florida Injury Prevention Advisory Council, Strategic Plan Goal Team Leaders and Teams. At each Florida Injury Prevention Advisory Council meeting, the goal teams meet and collaborate on plan implementation. The action plans are reviewed and revised as necessary. The action plans allow accountability for implementation throughout the strategic plan process. *Note: As of July 1, 2012, the Office of Injury Prevention became the Injury Prevention Program.
