RULE NO.: RULE TITLE:
64J-2.006: Trauma Registry

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of this rule development is to gather input regarding the Trauma Registry and the Florida Trauma Data Dictionary located in the 2008 Florida Trauma Registry Manual. The Department plans to discuss amending the Trauma Registry to ensure the best collection of data, that all data collected can be measured against national benchmarks, and to discuss the Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP) and whether TQIP should be utilized in Florida.

RULEMAKING AUTHORITY: 395.405 FS.

LAW IMPLEMENTED: 395.401(2), 395.4025, 395.404 FS.

A RULE DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP WILL BE HELD AT THE DATE, TIME AND PLACE SHOWN BELOW:

DATE AND TIME: February 13, 2013, 1:00 p.m., EST (12:00 Noon, CST).

The meeting agenda, Draft Trauma Registry Data Dictionary, and additional meeting materials will available by close of business, seven days prior to the meeting.
