Community changes will help build a healthier Orange County and
create a more satisfying place to live, work, and play. Orange County residents
will suffer less from the adverse effects of tobacco use due to increased
availability of and access to tobacco-cessation programs. Patrons of public
parks, schools, and bars will be exposed to less secondhand smoke. Multiunit
housing will promote smoke-free environments, creating healthier homes in which
community members can live and grow. Tobacco use will be significantly less
prevalent among Orange County residents, and all members of the community will
benefit as a result.
