2002 Florida Annual Cancer Report:  Incidence and Mortality for 1999 (zip file - 1.81MB)
This report provides a summary of 1999 cancer incidence and mortality data for selected sites by region, sex, age, and race. In addition, trends in incidence and mortality from 1981 to 1999 are presented. Please note that the age-adjusted incidence and mortality rates in this annual report have been adjusted to the U.S. 2000 Standard Population. Data for this report is compiled from Florida's statewide, population-based cancer registry under the guidance of the Bureau of Epidemiology, Florida Department of Health.

1998 Florida Annual Cancer Report (pdf - 300KB)
This report summarizes 1998 cancer incidence and mortality statistics for the State by region, sex, age, and race. Data for this report is a compilation of records received statewide from hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, radiation therapy centers, and pathology laboratories. Data is collected and maintained by the Florida Cancer Data System in conjunction with the Bureau of Epidemiology, Florida Department of Health.

1996-1997 Florida Annual Cancer Report: Incidence and Mortality (pdf - 330KB) 
This is the second Florida Annual Cancer Report and is produced by the Bureau of Epidemiology in the Florida Department of Health. The report presents data on cancer incidence and mortality in Florida by sex, state region and race for various cancer sites. The cancer incidence data in this report are collected and maintained by Florida?s cancer registry, the Florida Cancer Data System (FCDS). The FCDS is administered by the Florida Department of Health and is operated by the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami School of Medicine.

1995 Florida Annual Cancer Report (pdf - 230KB)
This report is the first Annual Cancer Report published by the State of Florida and provides extensive data on cancer incidence and mortality in Florida.  the report is produced by the Bureau of Epidemiology in the Florida Department of Health and the Florida Cancer Data System (FCDS) at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, University of Miami.

Prostate Cancer Incidence and Mortality Rates for Florida by Race and Age 1990 - 1997 (pdf- 100KB)
Prostate cancer rates in Florida have been changing rapidly since the introduction of improved screening techniques in the late 80's.  These changes may be due to increased detection of cases that would have previously gone undetected, or there may be changes in the rate at which men get prostate cancer.
