Newsflash: Adults Need Vaccinations Too!

We never outgrow the need for protection.

Just because you don't go to school anymore does not mean you can skip out on your immunizations. There are lots of reasons why adults need vaccines too.

What types of vaccinations do you need?

  • Yearly vaccinations like influenza
  • Vaccines available now that were not available during your childhood
  • Vaccines that require boosters to prevent loss of immunization levels

Adult Recommendations to Protect Newborns

Make sure you and your immunizations are up-to-date.

Immunizations should be given to all caregivers of newborns to help protect newborns from diseases for which they are not yet able to receive immunizations. Caregivers include parents, grandparents, other family members, and daycare providers.
