Radon measurement and mitigation individual and business renewals

The Department currently requires the certification of individuals and businesses providing radon services or any other radon related activity.

Florida radon Business certificates:

  • To renew your radon business certificate, after the expiration date but before 90 days past-due, forward your check or money order payable to the Florida Department of Health/Radon for $350.00.
  • To renew your radon business certificate, after the expiration date and after 90 days past-due but less than one year past-due, forward your check or money order for $375 payable to the Florida Department of Health/Radon for the certification fee in effect at that time, with a completed renewal application form, DH 1749.
  • To renew your radon business certificate, after the expiration date and after one year past-due, forward your check or money order for $375 payable to the Florida Department of Health/Radon for the certification fee in effect at that time, with a completed renewal application form, DH 1749.

Florida radon specialist certificates:

  • To renew your radon specialist certificate, after the expiration date but before 90 days past-due, forward your check or money order payable to the Florida Department of Health/Radon for $300.00.
  • To renew your radon specialist certificate, after the expiration date and after 90 days past-due but less than one year past-due, forward your check or money order for $325 payable to the Florida Department of Health/Radon for the certification fee in effect at that time, with a completed renewal application form, DH 1751.
  • To renew your radon specialist certificate, after the expiration date and after one year past-due, forward your check or money order for $325 payable to the Florida Department of Health/Radon for the certification fee in effect at that time, with a completed renewal application form, DH 1751 and re-attend a Florida approved radon specialist certification course. You will not have to re-take the certification examination.

Florida radon technician certificates:

  • To renew your radon technician certificate, after the expiration date but before 90 days past-due, forward your check or money order payable to the Florida Department of Health/Radon for $250.00 .
  • To renew your radon technician certificate, after the expiration date and after 90 days past-due but less than one year past-due, forward your check or money order for $275 payable to the Florida Department of Health/Radon for the certification fee in effect at that time, with a completed renewal application form, DH 1751.
  • To renew your radon technician certificate, after the expiration date and after one year past-due, forward your check or money order for $275 payable to the Florida Department of Health/Radon for the certification fee in effect at that time, with a completed renewal application form, DH 1751 and re-attend a Florida approved radon technician certification course. You will not have to re-take the certification examination.
