Legislative Library Service is a combination public administration and legal library. The collection includes books and periodicals on a wide variety of topics, providing comprehensive resources for anyone interested in legislative and legal issues.



The Florida Electronic Library (FEL) is a gateway to select internet resources. Through the “Ask a Librarian” service, you can even get one-on-one assistance from a librarian online. The State Library and Archives of Florida is the information resource provider for the Florida Legislature and state agencies. It coordinates and funds public libraries; implements statewide reading, information and literacy initiatives; provides records management services; and collects preserves and makes available the published and unpublished history of the state.



Just Read, Florida! is a program consisting of a comprehensive, coordinated reading initiative aimed at helping every student in Florida become a successful, independent reader. 'Just Read, Florida!' commits the state, in partnership with DOE, to meeting a goal of ensuring that all Florida students read at or above grade level by 2012.
