Just Read, Families! For the Holidays  Just Read, Families! For the Holidays Logo

Just Read, Families! For the Holidays is a new holiday reading program which provides information for parents so that they can take an active role in reading with their children while school is out for winter break.

Research shows that children who do not continue to read while school is out risk losing any progress they made during the school year. By encouraging their children to continue reading, parents are playing a critical role in achieving the goal of having ever child reading at or above grade level.

The Just Read, Families! For the Holidays website, www.justreadfamilies.org/holidays/tips.asp offers parents the tools they need to nurture a reading-friendly environment at home during the holidays.
