Spring 2013 Nutrition Workshop:
Nutrition and Menu Planning
A significant goal of the Child Care Food Program is to safely serve nutritious meals and snacks that meet program meal pattern requirements and are appetizing to children.
This workshop covers meal pattern requirements and creditable foods; special needs meals; planning, purchasing, and preparing meals with child appeal; and teaching preschoolers about healthy eating habits.

- Please register early. If participation warrants, we will consider adding additional workshops at these locations.
- Registration will close one week prior to the date of each workshop.
- The registration page will ask for your child care center's authorization number. This is the number that your particular center uses to file your monthly claims with the Child Care Food Program.
- Please remember to enter your current email address into the online registration page. You will receive a workshop confirmation and map at the email address you provide.
- If you plan to attend the Niceville location, please note you will receive a parking pass via email approximately one week prior to the workshop.
- If you plan to attend the Ft. Lauderdale workshop, please note parking is limited and carpooling is strongly encouraged.
