Improve Oral Health Locally

Community Oral Health Coalitions

Oral health coalition development began in August 2006 as part of the SOHIP implementation process. Initial community meetings are held to raise the awareness of the importance of oral health to total health and to establish active local coalitions throughout the state to work on solutions to oral health issues specific to individual communities. Contact the Public Health Dental Program of the Florida Department of Health for information about establishing an Oral Health Improvement Coalition in your community. Call (850)-245-4333.
