Our office is charged with coordinating performance initiatives for the department. We work with Florida’s 67 county health departments and central office programs to ensure they achieve optimal results for both health and business outcomes, as efficiently and effectively as possible. This is accomplished through analyzing data results and working strategically toward measurable improvements. A specific strategy we focus on in order further the department’s improvement efforts is the development of our workforce, including our public health nurses. Through raising competencies and providing the best training and resources possible, we can ensure our employees are best equipped to meet the department’s mission. I invite you to visit our section pages below to find out more about our initiatives.
