GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR ORGANIZATIONS REQUESTING SERVICE

It is the responsibility of the users of the database to contact individual speakers for an event. The State Partnership Grant Program will continually update and add new speakers to the database. The Speakers’ Bureau will provide a biography of each speaker to use in promotional materials and the introduction of the speaker. The State Partnership Grant Program wants you to have a successful event; therefore, it is very important that you plan ahead, at least 6-8 weeks prior to your event. Early planning will allow enough time for publicity and securing the logistics needed for the event.

PROCEDURES TO SELECT A SPEAKER

  • Select a speaker who will best match your needs from our website
  • Be mindful of the dates that the potential speaker is available
  • Discuss with the State Partnership Grant Program staff your needs, speaker’s criteria, and presentation preference.
