Program Overview and Benefits
Public Health Nursing (PHN) is an educational
provider approved by the Florida Board of Nursing to offer continuing
education (CE). PHN reports course completions for Department of Health
Licensed Practical Nurses (L.P.N.'s), Registered Nurses (R.N.'s), Advanced
Registered Nurse Practitioners (A.R.N.P.'s), and Certified Nursing
Assistants (C.N.A.'s). PHN facilities use of its provider number 50-712,
free of charge, to all work units of the Florida Department of Health
(County Health Departments, Children's Medical Services, Central Office),
other state agencies, and community partners on a limited case by case
basis. PHN automatically reports to CE Broker.
Under Florida law, e-mail addresses are public

If you are interested in offering continuing
education contact hours for a course offering, request and submit a
completed application to:
CE_Credit@doh.state.fl.us at least 30 calendar days prior to the date
of the offering.
