This program was created to attract and
encourage qualified personnel to seek employment in designated/ eligible
sites or facilities in Florida. The program provides funds to assist in
the repayment of the principal only, of nursing educational loans. Nurses
enrolled in the program, are required to maintain full-time employment in
those sites.
You may apply for the NSLFP anytime
after you become employed full-time at a designated/eligible
site/facility. Enrollment is based on the receipt date of a completed
application by the established deadline, consistent with the priorities,
as specified in section 1009.66(7), Florida Statutes.
