Office of Public Health Nursing

In the area of public health nursing the Office leads in the development, implementation and evaluation of public health nursing policy, standards and professional development; provides technical assistance to health departments regarding nursing protocols; interprets public health nursing policy for Department managers participates in the development of disaster preparedness activities related to special needs shelter staffing and household health assessments.
