North Florida Power Plant HIA

North Florida Power Plant (also referred to as the Taylor Energy Center) HIA was conducted in 2005 due to public opposition that resulted in a rally against the proposed coal burning plant. The 800 megawatt coal fire electric plant brought up additional concerns of pollution in an area that already has a paper plant producing emissions. In response to the public's opposition, the Taylor County Development Authority commissioned Health Development, Inc. to conduct an HIA.

St. Louis Park Health Impact Assessment
