The Vital Records
Registration Handbook is designed to assist the preparer of vital records in
their completion. Hospital and birthing center birth registrars, midwives,
funeral directors, sub-registrars, medical examiners, private physicians and
others involved in the registration process utilize this publication as a
guideline in creating documents that meet not only the legal requirements of
Florida Statutes and Florida Administrative Code, but also the personal needs of
families in transacting business.
