BSCIP ADVISORY COUNCIL
The Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Advisory Council is comprised of 16 members appointed by the State Surgeon General. Appointed members serve a four-year term and may serve no more than two terms (two consecutive or lifetime terms).
The Council is responsible for:

Providing advice and expertise to the department in the preparation, implementation, administration, and periodic review of the brain and spinal cord injury programs;

Assisting in the development and oversight of the Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Program Strategic Plan; and
-
Developing standards for quality assurance and improvement of the state?s brain and spinal cord injury designated facilities.
