RESEARCH, DATA COLLECTION, AND BUREAU PERFORMANCE EVALUATION COMMITTEE

Goal:  To identify the appropriate and evaluate research, data collection methods, and performance indicators and measurements to monitor the compliance of the Bureau’s programs.

 

Committee functions shall include but not be limited to the following:

 

·                     Provide updates to the Council on Research Activities.

·                     Review and provide recommendations to the Bureau and Council for participation and support of research grant opportunities.

·                     Coordinate with the Designated Facility and Quality Improvement Committee and the Bureau to monitor and evaluate the data collection and analysis processes of the Central Registry, the Rehabilitation Management Information System (RIMS), the designated facilities, contractors/community partners, UDS/FIMS, etc., to make recommendations for further enhancements or revisions to systems or processes to ensure statewide data integrity and accountability.

·                     Form partnerships between the BSCI Central Registry and the Trauma Registry/EMS, AHCA, and other state agencies to integrate and share data. 

·                     Ensure the Bureau conducts annual Quality Improvement Reviews of each region to ensure compliance with the Bureau’s policies and procedures (Staff Quality Assurance and Improvement).

 

Monitor and evaluate the Bureau’s Quarterly and Annual Performance Reports.
