Volusia County Health Department Offers Free H1N1 Vaccination Clinics

We thank everyone for being patient and allowing our most vulnerable residents to be vaccinated first against the H1N1 flu virus.

At this time, the Volusia County Health Department is opening up the free H1N1 vaccinations to anyone who wants to be vaccinated. You may visit one of our four health department clinic locations to be vaccinated.

Volusia County has received more than 100,000 doses of the H1N1 vaccine and shipments continue to arrive. The vaccine is being distributed to health care providers as well as hospitals, pharmacies, fire departments, urgent care centers, and a number of community partners. You may also call your private provider to check on vaccine availability.

The goal of the Florida H1N1 Mass Immunization Campaign is to immunize all Floridians and visitors who want to be vaccinated. Our dedicated team of nurses and other health professionals is trained and ready to serve the needs of Volusia County residents who are seeking vaccination for protected against the H1N1 virus.
 

VACCINATION INFORMATION

  • The Volusia County Health Department is offering free H1N1 vaccinations to the general public Monday – Friday, between the hours of
    8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

    • 1845 Holsonback Drive in Daytona Beach
    • 717 W. Canal Street in New Smyrna Beach
    • 909 N. Stone Street in DeLand
    • 3151 Howland Boulevard in Deltona

       
  • H1N1 Vaccination Outreach Teams are available for groups of 20 or more. Please call 386-274-0635 or (866) 821-7704 to schedule a vaccination team to visit organizations, businesses and companies.

While vaccination is the No. 1 protection against the flu, please continue to practice the following basic flu prevention measures:

  • Cover your cough
  • Wash your hands
  • Avoid school, work, or crowds when sick
