DAYTONA BEACH- In recognition of National Minority Health Month, the Volusia County Health Department, Halifax Health and Bethune-Cookman University’s Odessa Chambliss Wellness Center are hosting a Minority Health Summit to raise awareness of health inequities in our community. The event takes place on Tuesday, April 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Volusia County Health Department, 1845 Holsonback Drive in Daytona Beach.

“This summit is an opportunity to hear what advances are being made when it comes to health inequities in our community and to see what still needs to be done to reach our goals,” said Dr. Bonnie J.
