ORMOND BEACH – The Volusia County Health Department, Volusia County Schools, Florida Hospital Volusia/Flagler and Halifax Health launched an exciting new partnership today called Let’s Move Volusia’s Youth. This partnership follows in the steps of First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move national physical activity and nutrition initiative and is the first local project bringing all community partners together in a coalition to address the problem of childhood obesity in Volusia County. Today’s announcement took place at the Magic Forest Playground at Nova Community Park in Ormond Beach.
