The Florida State
Employee's Charitable Campaign (FSECC), is the only
state-sanctioned charity drive among state employees in the
workplace. Each year, state employees generously contribute
more than $4 million to their favorite charities though the
FSECC Campaign. The campaign was instituted to provide state
employees an opportunity to contribute to the charity or
charities of their choice, that provide services and
benefits to Florida's citizens; thereby reducing the burdens
of government on its taxpayers. Giving is voluntary to all
state employees.
In November 2007, Charlotte County
Health Department exceeded our goal by 119%, and raised a
total contribution of $3,618.47. |
