Pediatric Care

photo of a baby patientIn order to meet the needs of our community, the Charlotte County Health Department Pediatric Primary Care Clinics are promoting healthy behaviors to protect health, well-being, and assuring access to quality health care.

Our team of board-certified practitioners are trained to educate, diagnose, and treat common childhood illnesses.

We'll see your child for any reason! Here are some examples of why our pediatric patients make an appointment to see us : Childhood Immunizations, School & Sports Physicals, Camp Physicals, Wound Care Follow-up, Minor Injuries, Suture Removal, Cuts & Bruises, Routine Visits, Asthma, Diabetes, Obesity, ADHD, and more.

We provide recommended childhood immunizations at no cost to you.

We will see your new baby for routine well-baby checkups starting at 1 day old.

We accept Medicaid, and for those who are uninsured or prefer to pay out-of-pocket, we accept cash, check, and credit cards on a sliding scale fee basis. The amount that you pay is based on your ability to pay. For additional information or to schedule your appointment, contact any of our clinics. See clinic locations and phone numbers.

Our Pediatric Dental Clinic is now open for children under 18 on Medicaid. Visit the Dental Clinic page for more information.

During your visit, ask us how your child can recieve a free bicycle helmet. We encourage children to always wear a helmet when riding a bike. It can prevent serious injury, death and it's the law!
