Improve the quality of your life!
Charlotte County Health Department wants you to incorporate healthy behaviors into your everyday life to improve your quality of life. We hope to lead the people of Charlotte County to healthier lifestyles and better health, overall. Adopting healthy behaviors such as eating nutritious foods, controlling portion sizes, being physically active, and avoiding tobacco use can prevent or control the devastating effects of chronic diseases, such as cancer and diabetes.
The Healthy Lifestyles department promotes healthy behaviors related to nutrition and
physical activity. We work with community partners to
provide health education and community outreach. We also support the Charlotte County Tobacco-Free
Partnership which promotes tobacco free environments through education, advocacy, and resources for
quitting smoking.
We are located at the Charlotte County Health Department at 1100 Loveland Blvd., Port Charlotte, FL 33980. Contact us at: 941-624-7200.
