School Health Coordination

Donna Lamb is a full time school district employee funded in part by the Columbia County Health Department. She is responsible for overseeing various services such as the yearly vision screening, the scoliosis screening as well as the yearly immunization count. She also coordinates the medical component of kindergarten registration each year.
Carolyn Swearingen is a Community Health Nurse who provides education and serves as a school resource. She makes available a variety of classes and surveys as needed by the Columbia County Health Department and the school district office. She also acts as liaison between Children's Medical Service (CMS), families and the school.
