The goal of Florida's MomCare program is to improve birth outcomes and reduce infant mortality rates by providing medical coverage for uninsured pregnant women in the State of Florida who meet eligibility for presumptive eligibility. MomCare Advisors assist clients to:

Select a Medicaid Prenatal Care Provider
Assist in resolving problems with access to healthcare
Assist in scheduling and keeping Prenatal appointments
Facilitate the completion of a Healthy Start Screen
Complete referrals for Support Services, including referrals to Healthy Start

How do I sign-up for MomCare?

MomCare’s health insurance is available to uninsured pregnant women. To apply, the client must obtain proof of pregnancy from a doctor or the county health department and complete a one-page application.
