Prenatal Screening

As soon as you think you might be pregnant, schedule an appointment with your doctor or health care provider. During your first visit, ask your doctor or nurse to complete a Healthy Start Prenatal Risk Screen. The screen is a simple one-page screen that identifies risk factors that could affect you or your baby’s health. If one was not offered to you, ask for it.
