WIC checks and vouchers can be used at any WIC approved store in Florida.
Remember to bring your ID card with you to present to the cashier with your WIC
checks
You may only buy the food items listed on the check, but you do not have to buy
everything on the check.
Checks can only be used during the dates shown on the top right of the check;
you can not start before the “first day to use” or use after the “last day to
use”
You can use more than one check on the same day.
You will also receive a Fruits and Vegetables Voucher that can be used to
purchase certain fresh, canned or frozen fruits and vegetables. You will be
responsible for any amount over what is stated on the voucher.
WIC checks can not be replaced if lost, stolen or expired!

Please remember to pick up and use your checks before
they expire!
Gadsden County also participates in the Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program which
takes place in the spring and summer. This program allows you to purchase fresh
fruits and vegetables from local farmer’s markets.
