Prescription Assistance Program

The Jackson County Health Department’s Prescription Assistance Program supports free medication for patients who utilize Jackson County Health Department as their provider.  Acceptance to the program is based on income and proof of income will be required for program enrollment.  Patients who receive Medicare, Medicaid or have a prescription plan are not eligible for the program.  Medication is provided by the drug manufacturers to patients whom they determine eligible to receive assistance from their companies.  The drug manufacture companies also determine which medication is available through the Prescription Assistance Program.  When the patient is approved, a three (3) month supply of medication is delivered to the Jackson County Health Department for pickup.
