Clinic Services

The Jefferson County Health Department is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  We are also open during the lunch hour.  This schedule is followed to help as many people as possible, particularly those with jobs or with children in school or day care to take advantage of our services.

Our nurses provide patient services every day of the week, including immunizations.  Some services such as physical exams and family planning must be scheduled on days that a doctor, nurse practitioner, or nutritionist is available.  Although appointments are not required for all clinics, we encourage appointments so we can see you as quickly as possible.  Appointments are seen ahead of walk-ins.

Payments are due at time services are rendered. Cost of services depends on Financial Eligibility and/or Sliding Fee Scale.  Medicaid and Medicare are welcome.  Also note, some services have set fees.  Please inquire at time of services.
