Epidemiology
The EPI Team monitors trends of reportable diseases that occur in Jefferson County. The team investigates all food and water borne disease outbreaks as well as all animal bite cases that occur in the county. Additionally, the team is actively involved in preparedness for early detection of any terrorist incidents utilizing biological agents.
