Nutrition Services
The Jefferson County Health Department has state licensed, registered dietitians who provide nutrition assessments and special diet instructions to clients referred by health care providers. Modified diets and/or assessments include weight management, diabetes control calorie counts, and all others prescribed. Clients must present a diet, prescription or referral signed by a physician, P.A., or ARNP, for a specific diet/counseling/assessment.
