Diabetes Health Counseling 

Individual health education is provided to both newly diagnosed patients and diabetics battling this major, chronic disease in Jefferson and Madison Counties.  An array of topics is presented to patients including: nutrition, exercise, and mental well being.  Monthly continuing education sessions are offered to members of the Doers Club Diabetes Support Group at Jefferson County Senior Citizens Center.  

 Diabetes prevention education is presented to:   citizens of Jefferson and Madison Counties, Jefferson and Madison Counties Senior Citizens Center participants, and the Boys & Girls Club members of Jefferson County.
