As with any business or government agency, the Lee County Health Department has a superb team of professionals that do the daily tasks that keeps our business running smoothly while adhering to the very specific State and local government rules for operation of this agency.

Our Accounting Staff insures that Payables, Receivables and Billing practices are in accordance with Department of Health guidelines. Security and Privacy are monitored in alignment with HIPAA rules and data is secured and protected by the Information Technology Department.

Continuing education and specialized course material is provided to our staff through the Staff Development and Training program.

Our Strategic Planning Department ensures that our efforts are aligned with our mission and that we have a clear vision for the future. They also lead our never-ending quest to improve the quality of our services and to provide outstanding customer service.
