Lee County Health Department’s (LCHD's) Human Resources office is located in Fort Myers at the Joseph P. D’Alessandro Center. Our primary customers are the LCHD employees. We provide technical assistance regarding personnel rules, regulations, policies and procedures to both line staff and supervisors.

To search vacancies, select location: West, North, Central, or South. If you want to define your search, click on the applicable county for vacancies.

Persons who submit an application via fax, telephonically, or by mail must contact the People First Service Center during their normal business hours (8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. EST) prior to the application deadline date to answer the position qualifying questions. Applicants who do not answer the position qualifying questions will not be considered for the position.

All State positions/duties are considered “sensitive” and require fingerprinting and background screening as a condition of employment or service. Positions deemed “safety sensitive” require negative drug testing results prior to starting employment. The State of Florida is an AA/EEO employer.
