Sexually Transmitted Diseases - Division of Disease Control

The Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) Intervention Program is responsible for the investigation, control, and prevention of STDs in Lee County. We provide many services including testing and screening for STDs. For clients who test positive for an STD, we offer medical care and treatment through our clinic sites. In addition, contact investigations are conducted for all confirmed cases to identify and test sexual partners who may have been exposed or infected. Finally, the STD Intervention Program provides outreach services to help educate the community about reducing the risks for STD.

We encourage the public to call with any questions or concerns about STDs. All information is kept private and confidential.

To reach the STD Intervention Program, call 239-656-2538.

To make an appointment for STD testing or treatment, call 239-461-6100.
